I lingered in a dream long after the morning rays glimpsed through the shade on the bedroom window, haunted by the woman with wheat colored hair, haunted by her soft features and inviting mouth pitched open, haunted by her scintillating face lying dormant, her pale skin and the floating wispy edges of her bathing suit some feet below seemed to beckon me, helpless to help her. I, so close to her cheek, could see the foundation powder she wore and smelled her fleeting fragrance. I breathed it in, euphoric, consuming her at once with all of my senses. Our hearts vibrated under the nuclear twilight, ultra-violet radiation screaming toward us in our last moments together. I pulled back, holding her shoulders desperately, sensing her confusion. She had no idea that our death was speeding toward us, supersonic. We had waited our whole lives for this moment. I had the impulse to kiss her. When we passed, our embrace would seem to last forever and our love would scatter back to the universe from where it came.

O lonely soul, I see the way that your hair bobs in time with your breasts with each click of your heel on the pavement as you walk away. These washed out fairground lights make it hard to make out the colors on your lips and fingernails but you are a red type of ghost, I'm certain. I am the first one to show at the bus stop. It's too early for me to be waiting, and I have no common-sense. I gather that from the face of the second person to come, wondering what I am doing, and how long I had been standing there, dumb and cold. But I like to watch and take in the sharpening morning. I see a small boy waiting on the sidewalk with his mother for the school bus and sense the way he adores her. She hides the truth from him in that motherly way, reassured by the morning light flashing over his face, and buildings, and pavement. It makes me wonder when we will fall out of the sun's favor, when he will grow weary

I was pleased that my jubilant dancing outside the window didn't rouse him. When I entered, Mackinson recoiled to his chair, now perspiring heavily. He was gasping, his nostrils aflare, catching the smell of his own sweat. He looked gloomy by the light of the fireplace, which happened to be the only light in the office. The darkness could not have told that I would be the last image Mackinson would ever fetch through his pupils just before his premature ascent to the afterlife. Another New Year Upon Us

Hello DeviantArt, Wow, it's almost 2012. I've been a member here for so long now, it's crazy to look back and think about it; that I was writing and submitting and interacting with people since I was just a teenager. I'm 24 now, and how things have changed. You know, I almost thought about deleting this profile and starting over with a new one, a new name, everything. The thing is I've had a somewhat bumpy ride on DA. I've quit and come back many times. I've went through periods of feeling accomplished, and some of doubting myself. I can truly say I've never been as involved as I've wanted to be. But regardless, I've seen a lot of changes.
